Microsoft Office Add-ins for InfoScreen Quorum®

The term Add-in refers to “small programs that extend the capabilities of an application by adding custom commands and specialized features”. As such, it is necessary to install Add-ins on each computer separately.

The Microsoft Office Add-ins for InfoScreen Quorum® provide users with the added functionality they have been looking for. Through these Add-ins, users are given access to the filing structure of the entities in InfoScreen Quorum® directly from within Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. As a result, it is now possible to Open and/or Save any Document from and to InfoScreen Quorum®.

 

The Document Storage facility, that is an integral part of InfoScreen Quorum®, provides the ideal solution for a central location to store all types of documents and automatically relate them to any Contact or Entity in InfoScreen Quorum®.

Three Add-ins are currently available for Microsoft Office:

  Microsoft Word Add-in for InfoScreen Quorum provides you with the following functionality:

-    Allows you to Open any Word document that is saved within InfoScreen Quorum, Edit it and Save it back to Quorum or to another location.

-   Allows you to Save a new Word document directly into InfoScreen Quorum and relate it to any of the entities there.

Microsoft Excel Add-in provides you with the following functionality:

-    Allows you to Open any Excel spreadsheet that is saved within InfoScreen Quorum, Edit it and Save it back to Quorum or to another location.

-   Allows you to Save a new Excel spreadsheet directly into InfoScreen Quorum and relate it to any of the entities there.

  Microsoft Outlook Add-in provides you with the following functionality:

-   Allows you to Save an opened email directly into InfoScreen Quorum and relate it to any of the entities there.

-   Allows you to Save email attachments directly into InfoScreen Quorum and relate it to any of the entities there.

-   Allows you to Create a task from an opened email directly into InfoScreen Quorum and assign it to one or more users, relate it to any of the entities there and more.

-   Allows you to Send and Save a new email directly into InfoScreen Quorum and relate it to any of the entities there.

-   Allows you to Attach any file stored in InfoScreen Quorum to a new email.
