The design of InfoScreen Quorum® has been based on the Distributed architecture model that offers easy scalability and superior performance for large systems. Please note that even though the system is designed to perform at its best with the following distributed structure, the Quorum Application Server and the Database Server components can reside on the same computer. To install and run InfoScreen Quorum®, your system must meet or exceed the following system requirements.
Computer/processor: PC with Pentium III 800 MHz or higher processor; Server class computer (Pentium IV, Xeon, AMD Athlon, Opteron or similar) recommended
Memory: 256 MB or more of RAM; 2GB recommended
Hard disk: 5 MB of available hard disk space (hard disk usage will vary depending on configuration; custom installation choices may require more or less hard disk space)
Operating system: Microsoft Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4, Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Linux SuSE, Fedora, Gentoo, Ubuntu or any other distribution with Kernel 2.6 (NPTL) or later.
Network configuration: TCP/IP |
Computer/processor: PC with Pentium III 800 MHz or higher processor; a modern Desktop/Laptop computer is recommended
Operating system: Microsoft Windows® XP SP2, Windows Server 2003, Vista, Windows Server 2008; Microsoft Windows® Vista recommended.
Additional items or services that are required to use certain features:
Integration functionality (including Word or Excel): Microsoft Office 2002 or later is required for the use of the Templates and Official Reports feature. Microsoft Office Outlook 2002 or later is required to share InfoScreen Quorum® data with the Outlook messaging and collaboration client
TWAIN compatible Scanner for use with the Document Storage module
Internet connectivity recommended (optional) |
